Special Offers Winter 2019

Special Offers

“Winter is Coming” and we’re offering you a special deal to celebrate! Book a 2-night luxury bed and breakfast stay at Fauhope Country House and we’ll give you a 3rd night for FREE!

Although we’re not up to speed with the phenomenon that is the TV show “Game of Thrones”, we were delighted to play host to one of its stars earlier this year - James Sives who we believe played Jory Cassel, captain of the guards to House Stark – House Stark's motto is “Winter is Coming”! We understand his character met with a rather sticky end in the series, however, actor James enjoyed the peace and tranquility on offer at Fauhope and we were excited to hear all about his up and coming film and TV roles. He wrote in our visitor book - “Wonderful relaxing stay, we’ll be back!”.

Why not come and sample our award-winning hospitality for yourself, and take advantage of our very special ‘Winter 2019 Offer’ of 3 nights for the price of 2. This offer means you can relax in luxury for longer, and take in more of what the wonderful Scottish Borders has to offer, at no extra cost.

After a 5 star Scottish Breakfast, spend your days exploring this historic part of Scotland - from historic landmarks and country houses to wonderful winter walks and unique local shopping, there’s sure to be something to suit everyone. You can even pop up to Edinburgh on the train for the day!

“Fauhope House would be worth visiting as an attraction in itself; a perfect 1890s pocket Scottish baronial country house, terraced into the Tweed valley, with views across its own beautifully-gardened, pheasant-haunted grounds down to Melrose and across to the Eildons.”

Michael D, Stratford-upon-Avon (Tripadvisor)

“I returned to Fauhope House after 3 yrs absence. It was just as wonderful as before. So much to say: elegant, warm, flowery, artistic, cozy, stylish, friendly, appreciating, tasty, comforting, restful, inspiring, personal, relaxed, natural, helpful, clean, enriching, to say a few things. Yes, I will move in and do yard work for room and board. Didn’t want to leave.”

Robert T, Hartford, Connecticut (Tripadvisor)

“Breakfasts are delicious and bountiful—my husband is still raving about Sheila’s rhubarb and strawberry compote—and we loved getting back to our room after breakfast and finding it already made up and tidy.”

JRJT, Los Angeles (Tripadvisor)

“Our first night before setting off on St Cuthbert's Way towards Lindisfarne. Picked up in Melrose and immediately made to feel welcome. Great nearby restaurants, wonderful views and superb accommodation. Would recommend to anyone.”

“We visited for a family birthday celebration and couldn't have been better pleased at how things turned out. All the bedrooms were great, the breakfasts superb, the gardens and the setting glorious and the friendliness of, and service provided by, the hosts wonderful. We'd love to come back.”
